Women's Dharma Talk Group
On the 14th of October, Buddha’s Light International Association South Island held a Women's Dharma Talk Group in the presence of Venerable Abbess Manshin, with BLIA South Island vice-president Mei Hwa Chen leading the group of 14 BLIA members in attendance.
Venerable Abbess Manshin shared her thoughts and the information she learned from the International BLIA Conference in Taiwan in October, and encouraged them to self-improve, self-enrich, open up their views, open their minds and take the responsibility of Dharma promotion.
The members also came up with the question: Being a Committee Member or Director, how do I pass my experience onto other members of which I think are capable of my position? How do I learn to have a right mind? How do I improve the committee’s image for people to accept us, so that we can help the local community?
All BLIA members increased their knowledge on Buddhism in the happy and harmonious atmosphere, and agreed that through this discussion group, they have gained much knowledge. The members also invited Abbess Manshin to share more of her knowledge with others.
