“Cultural Arts and Food Afternoon Tea” meeting

On the 28th of September, there was a meeting with Reverend Juexi, Buddha’s Light International Association South Island president Almeric Cheng and BLIA committee member Jack Liu on the “Cultural Arts and Food Feast” at the Tea house of Fo Guang Shan South Island Temple. The Feast will be held on the 11th of October.

The Temple cordially invites is the local neighbourhood and BLIA members to participate in the Afternoon Tea. Coincidently, Ethnic Affairs Minister, Hon. Chris Carter will be visiting the temple on the day, and approximately 150 people will be attending.
The art gallery will include artworks “Hospitality for the Heart”, “Purple Sands 18 Arhats” and “Fo Guang Shan’s Hundred Famous People Wall Tour” with different mediums as their raw material. The Fo Guang Tea House will be preparing delicious afternoon tea party, and the youth group will be helping out with spreading the word.
