Celebration of the Moon Festival Lantern Display Competition

Guiding Venerable of the BLIA English sub-chapter, Venerable Miaoyu, invited the ‘Lantern creation and display competition’ team to the Tea House to celebrate their achievement of winning 1st prize in this competition.

The Venerable showed her appreciation of their creativity, unity and excellent team work, congratulating them on promoting the Mid Autumn Festival, respecting and supporting the monastery and their continuing efforts to localize Humanistic Buddhism in New Zealand.

The team leader, Peter Batten, with his social secretary, Ann Batten, Lesley and her family and other members shared their achievements with Dharma joy.
