Tai Chi & Meditation Saturday Service

20 September 2008, ten members participated in the service focusing on ‘appreciation’ during motive meditation. The participants were asked to find an object in either the courtyard, on one of the buildings, the garden or Buddha to contemplate on the hard work and progress of their contribution to team work.

The focus of sitting meditation was to let go of ‘the expectation of being appreciated’ but to keep their appreciation of every condition, person, material and all other things that come into their lives.

During the Dharma discussion Venerable Miaoyu shared ‘the path to happiness’, introducing method one: 'Do Not Take Worries to Bed', and led the group to experience techniques to enable everyone to relax while sleeping.
