New Zealand Police Take Refuge in the Triple Gem Retrieving One's Heart From Faith
On 25th July, Constable Martin from Police College Wing 261 took refuge in the Triple Gem. Later on the 28th July Constable Martin came back to the temple with his colleagues to visit Abbess Manshin and receive the certificate. Constable Martin expressed his gratitude to Abbess and the Temple staff for their encouragement and assistance. He finally found his spiritual strength, and gain power from faith which will support him in the future when serving the public and becoming a better person.
Constable Gurjot Dihman said that this was his first time visiting Temple. He said that the tranquil atmosphere of Temple recharges his body, mind, and soul. By listening to Abbess, he realized that the Temple organised various cultural, art and educational activities for the community. The police officers acknowledge the Temple’s effort in delivering beautiful message of three acts of goodness and four giving to the community, bringing people together and construct a harmonious society together.
Police officers are the babysitter of the community, they work very hard to serve the nation and to ensure the public is safe. Therefore, the Temple thanked the police officers for their hard work, and is happy to see the care and respect towards the police from the community.
