Free Chinese Medical checkup, welcoming spring with healthy life
Spring has begun in New Zealand, and in order to remind BLIA members and Christchurch residents to pay attention to their health, the BLIA South Island NZ First Chapter organised a Spring Free medical checkup serviceon the 12th of October, inviting BLIA member Dr. Chen Xiao Yun to provide health checks to everyone. BLIA South Island First Chapter President Louisa Kuo, Vice President Heidi Lee and BLIA committee members were all there that day to assist, and nearly 30 people came to enquire about their health issues.
The 3-hour long free clinic was a great success, and the people waited patiently in queue before Dr. Chen would see them. Dr. Chen performed the diagnosis by monitoring their pulse, observing the condition of their face, breathing cycles and also took the time to understand their daily routine so as to get a full picture of their health condition. The outstanding response from the public that day made Dr. Chen very happy, and she felt honored to be able to contribute to Christchurch so much.
Everyone was grateful for the free medical checkup service that gave them a good understanding of their health condition. They praised the Chinese doctor catching even the most subtle things, which gave them a way to more effectively treat the root cause of their health problems. Looking forward to the next free clinic!
