FGY Art Gallery Christchurch - A Diverse platform for all Artists
Fo Guang Yuan (FGY) Art Gallery Christchurch have numerous and regularly update their exhibitions. The artworks in each exhibition are highly presentable and the gallery have been receiving positive reputation in Christchurch region. Some exhibition attracted various visitors from different background such as artists, collectors and media. On 9th December, Christchurch Art Gallery’ s Director, Blair Jackson sent a letter to FGY Art Gallery Christchurch that he would like to visit the gallery on 18th December. FGY New Zealand Curator Abbess Manshin, Fo Guang Shan (FGS) South Island In-charge person Venerable Jue Xi, FGY Public relation Ryan Wang and Kok Wei will attend and welcome Blair in person. The FGY NZ gallery’s team will introduce Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s One Stroke Calligraphy on his visit.
The Christchurch Art Gallery is located at Christchurch City Centre. The venue provides art exhibition for local and international artists. Now everyone can use the new webpage to locate various galleries in Christchurch, information of new exhibition and art-related updates. Dr Warren has always admired the art exhibitions in FGY Art Gallery Christchurch and he welcome FGY continue to provide exhibition information. Delfina Paiva, an Argentina barista who lives in Christchurch, came to the gallery and discuss about the consignment of her artworks when she knew that FGY Art Gallery provides an exhibition platform for artists. Delfina is an amateur painter who loves to paint during her free time. Her creation are mainly abstract oil paintings with South American characters. She was impressed by the artistic atmosphere in this gallery and hope to bring her creation to share with others soon.
