01 / 05

The Temple received boxes of hand sanitisers from a local organisation. Abbess Manshin informed the team to deliver these hand sanitisers to schools to help with the hygiene protection. On the morning of 29th June 2021, Ms Louise Lynch from Panmure District School came to Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple Auckland to pick up the hand sanitisers. Venerable Miao Yu presented the hand sanitisers and sent her regards on behalf of the Temple.

Panmure District School has participated in the 3G4G Festival of Cultural Sharing for four consecutive years and has formed a close friendship with the Temple. The teachers believe that the value of Three Acts of Goodness and Four Givings has brought a positive impact to the students. Louise appreciates the Temple for donating the hand sanitisers to the school again, as they did before early this year. They truly felt the care and support from the Temple. Louise also shared that she was glad to be given the opportunity to walk into the Temple for the first time and was impressed with the magnificent building. She said that she had visited the FGS Temple in Christchurch many years ago with her friends and still remembered how beautiful and elegant the Temple was. The Temple in Auckland is a magnificent building, as it gives people a serene and calm feeling. Louise mentioned she would definitely come back to visit and enjoy the delicious vegetarian food in the Water Drop Vege Café.
