Department of Internal Affairs Citizenship Team Visit

The Department of Internal Affairs Manukau Citizenship team visited the temple on 5 December 2019 for their end of year lunch. The team looks after awarding citizenship and the associated citizenship ceremonies for newcomers to New Zealand. The group had a personal tour of the temple and viewed its numerous exhibitions and facilities. A highlight of the visit was a meeting and discussion led by Venerable Abbess Manshin that included Mr Premnath Menon who was the groups leader and who was the person who conferred New Zealand citizenship to Venerable Abbess Manshin in 2018 and Inspector Rakesh Naidoo. There were many insightful questions asked by the group and a joyous conversation had.
