On 17th October 2019, Fo Guang Yuan (FGY) Art Gallery Christchurch held a tea party to celebrate the closing of the Transience Exhibition. The organiser of the Exhibition, Keith Morant, and 11 participating artists were invited to the Water Drop Café to enjoy a high tea. Other than being treated to the normal delicacies, the Artists were pleasantly surprised by the presentation of a Transience Exhibition cake specially prepared by FGY to mark the occasion. On top of this, to preserve their fond memories, the artists themselves prepared a commemorative album with all their signatures in it. In a ceremony after the high tea, the Transience Exhibition was officially declared closed by the Artists, putting the more than 2 months’ Exhibition to a perfect end. The Artists expressed their deep satisfactions in the Exhibition and felt lucky to be able to hold the Transience Exhibition here.
