On 17th November, Buddha Light International Association (BLIA) South Island Director Kok-Wei Low and BLIA Young Adult Division Ni-Ling Chia represented the association visited Opawa School in Christchurch and donated 48 hand sanitisers. It was received by school Principal Sally Ormandy. The school will make decision to sign up the students for 3G4G event and register for Laba Congee after the school meeting.
Opawa School have nearly 400 teachers and students. The students include European, Maori and Asian ethnics. The school learning is to emphasise the students be more on intellectual development.
