BLIA NZ Launches the Second Wave of 366 Book Delivery Received Positive Feedback from Motel Owner

The 366 Days with Wisdom book delivery activity by Fo Guang Shan in New Zealand had been suspended for many years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, under the leadership of FGS NZ Abbess Venerable Manshin, the book delivery was resumed in March 2023. From 10th to 30th March, 11 members from the Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) South Island were divided into 5 groups, delivered total 260 copies of the late Venerable Master Hsing Yun's 366 Days with Wisdom to 26 hotels in Christchurch.

Motel owners were delighted and appreciated the kind action as the BLIA members personally delivering books to their hotels. They expressed that since receiving the 366 Books as gifts from the FGS and BLIA team in 2015, their motel guests were enjoyed the content and found inspiring. The Motel owners thanked BLIA members for proactively replenishing the books.

Asure Chrischurch Classic Motel Zeta expressed that 366 were placed in each room at first however, almost all of the books have been taken.  As the content of the book is very meaningful and she expressed her gratitude towards FGS and BLIA for the timely replenish which allows her to share the books with more guests.

Mark, a staff member of 136 On Bealey Motel, found it interesting and believed that it could enhance the positive energy of their guests. Brett, the manager of Airport Palms Motel, expressed that BLIA members replenishing the books was very timely and they will continue to follow up on book replenishment when needed. Henderson, the person in charge of 166 Majestic Court Motel, expressed that he would introduce the Temple to more guests so that they could appreciate the beauty of Christchurch and enjoy delicious vegetarian food.

366 Days with Wisdom is widely accepted by peoples from all walks of life in New Zealand, with positive feedback indicating that the content is rich and full of philosophy. Many people who read the book in motels specifically called FGS NZ to express their willingness to purchase the book. As Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s spirit and wisdom will remain immortal through his literature works, purifying our hearts and benefiting society.
