BLIA Christchurch YAD washed cars to warm up for 2019 ANZBYC fundraising.
The end of August and early September is the transition from Winter to Spring in New Zealand. The fallen pollen doesn’t just cover the ground, it covers the cars as well. On 19th of August, Christchurch YAD April and Alvin made the most of their holidays by washing cars to help fund raising for 2019 ANZBYC.
Under the guidance of BLIA member Kok Wei Low, April and Alvin washed and vacuumed several cars. Their performance was as good as professional car wash centres. As the pollen covered the car, it is necessary to wash the car more arduously thereby increasing the difficulty and time of washing the car. However, our youths uphold the spirit of BLIA - giving confidence, giving joy, giving hope and giving convenience. Even in the face of stubborn stains, they still try their best to eliminate them. Kok Wei Low, April and Alvin took 3 hours to make the 7 cars clean and shiny.
