American Director Enjoy Vegetarian Dining at Waterdrop Cafe
On 30th September, an American, Joseph Foster, whom had been residing in Christchurch came dining at Waterdrop Café to welcome his friend, Valentina from Belgium who had just arrived Christchurch. Few days ago, Joseph received great hospitality from his friend invitation to Waterdrop Café which he enjoyed the delicious vegetarian food and giving him good impression of the place.
These visit, Joseph had ordered 5 most recommended dishes in Waterdrop Café as a feast for Valentina, a first timer on tasting Chinese cuisine. They both tasted every food and take away those that could not be finished. In that morning, the temperature in Christchurch was almost below zero and the café staff had turned on the fire place which made Joseph felt very warmth of the café.Joseph and Valentina were very happy when the café staff gifted them with “New Zealand Fo Guang Shan Year 2021 Calendar”. Joseph complimented the photos in the calendar, especially the architectural design of Fo Guang Shan North Island. He hopes that he will have the opportunity to pay a visit.
Joseph is a film director and he admires the artistic environment as well as the services provided by the temple. He hopes that he will have the opportunity to film a promotional video for the temple, introducing the virtue and beauty of the temple to everyone allowing more people to know about this pure land on earth.
